Everyday Hoop Earrings

Silver tone double hoop earrings with Cat's Eye crystal beads. Sterling silver plated ear wires. 

These were created as part of my Silver New Year's collection of elegant yet wearable earrings with  delicate crystal accents.

Cat's Eye is another type of Tiger's eye, a form of quartz that is created when fibers of the mineral crocidolite are replaced by silica. This creates a beautiful chatoyancy (optical effect in which the banded structure of the stone reflects light, appearing similar to a tiger or cat's eye). Tiger or Cat's Eye has been used to bring courage and good fortune, supporting necessary change by strengthening will and clarity of intention.
